Delivery:

Delivery timescales shown below are approximate and will be confirmed in the order confirmation email. In the event of supply difficulties, your order may fall outside of these timescales. We will make every effort to keep you informed if there are any delays with your order. Currently we are only able to ship products to UK mainland. We may under certain circumstances be able to deliver outside this area, contact customercare@taskforse.com for further details. We aim to deliver all products included on this website within 6-8 weeks of receiving your order. Some items may be available within 2-6 weeks depending on stock availability.

Please note: when paying for your furniture order the delivery lead-time will commence once your payment has been confirmed.

Disclaimer: we work closely with our carriers to ensure best possible service and delivery times, however, some delays may occur which are outside our control.

Delivery Arrangements:

Prior to your furniture being delivered our delivery team will contact you to inform you of your delivery date and a four-hour timescale, e.g. 10am to 2pm. Your delivery will not occur until you have been contacted by telephone or by letter if no telephone number is available. Should vehicle access to your delivery address be restricted, please inform us by email upon receipt of your order confirmation. If you cannot accept the date offered to you, this will delay your delivery. Our delivery team are supplied with mobile telephones which enables them to contact you should there be a problem regarding the time of your delivery on the actual day. Special arrangements for the crew to contact you en route, up to one hour before their expected arrival time can be requested at the time of booking, enabling you to return home for as short a period as possible. Please ensure that normal ground floor access is adequate and that you have checked the dimensions of your furniture.

On Delivery:

Our delivery team will take your furniture into the room of your choice. Prior to arrival, please ensure the route and the room allows sufficient space for your new furniture.

All items will be left packaged for your removal. We regret that we are unable under any circumstances to remove packaging from your home. Boxed Furniture items that require self-assembly are indicated as such in the product description and will also be left packaged for self-assembly.

A signature for receipt will be required on delivery. Once the delivery has been signed for, a refund or exchange will only be given in accordance with your legal rights.

Check the Dimensions Before Ordering

It is vital that you check the dimensions of your furniture prior to delivery to ensure that there is sufficient space and that you will be happy with the look of the furniture when it arrives in your home. All dimensions are shown in product information.

Please note...

  • All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability.

  • Small parcels may be delivered via Royal Mail or similar courier companies

  • The contents of your order and your delivery postcode area will determine which delivery services you will be offered.

  • We do not deliver to Post Office (P.O.) boxes or shipping agent addresses.

  • Delivery will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm, we cannot confirm an exact time.

  • You will only pay one delivery charge, which will be the highest depending on the contents of your order and your chosen delivery service.

    Your order may be delivered on more than one vehicle as this allows us to use specialist carriers, trained in handling your items

    The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use personal information we may obtain about you. By registering as a user of the services provided by Taskforse Ltd and by using the Taskforse Home Furniture web site generally you agree to this use.

    1. When you register and use this site you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. We will store this data and hold it on computers or otherwise. We will use this data to fulfil our agreement with you.

    2. We may use information you provide or is obtained by us:

    (a) To employees and agents of Taskforse to administer any accounts, products and services provided to you by Taskforse now or in the future.

    We may also disclose your information:

    (a) To anyone to whom we transfer or may transfer our rights and duties under our agreement with you.

    (b) If we have a duty to do so or if the law allows us to do so.

    5. We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal details. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data you disclose on-line. You accept the inherent security risks of providing information and dealing on-line over the Internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.

    6. You have the right to see personal data (as defined in the Data Protection Act) we keep about you, upon receipt of a written request and payment of a fee. If you are concerned that any of the information we hold on you is incorrect please contact us.

    Fabrics

    All fabrics used for covering furniture comply with the Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations 1988. To meet these requirements, fabrics should have a special flame-retardant finish or be made from flame-retardant yarns. To protect these yarns, it is essential that they are cleaned correctly. We recommend that all fabric should be cleaning by a professional.

    To order a free fabric sample please email customerservices@taskforse.com clearing stating the fabric sample(s) you require together with your full postal address. Upon receipt of your request we will send sample(s) within 5 working days.
